REMY COHEN

Among the pioneers of the investment banking in Italy, Remy Cohen founded Cohen&Co. in 1994 and since then has been personally assisting all his clients.

He manages the company activities combining organizational and relational skills guided by work and business ethics applied constantly in the selection of the project, the collaborators and partners.

Remy Cohen is considered a national expert in project finance. Besides the direct involvement in many of the most important Italian transactions, Remy Cohen also teaches Infrastructure Finance at the Master in Corporate Finance, at Bocconi University in Milan. He also teaches International Finance at LUM university in Bari.

His experience in economics and finance comes from the technical expertise developed during the years of activity on the markets and through applied research realized in collaboration with research centres as well as international organizations. Thanks to his knowledge Remy Cohen is the only Italian member of the Revenue and Finance Committee of the Transportation Research Board.

With more than 30 years of experience in investment banking Remy Cohen is able to negotiate at high levels and his personal characteristics help him succeed in concluding difficult negotiation processes, managing multiple and conflicting actors.

Remy Cohen started his career as economist the International Monetary Fund in Washington, he was Direttore Centrale of Euromobiliare, and Director General for Project Financing and International Strategies for Recchi Finanziaria SpA. In 1994 he founded Cohen&Co. and he was advisor for all investment banking activies in Italy for Bear Stearns and Co and representative of Macquarie Bank, for the infrastructure activities of the Group.

FEDERICO MARIA ALBERTO CALIGARIS

Federico has been collaborating with Cohen&Co. since 2015, working on project finance activities, business and financial plan development.
Federico has worked on the development of the Ethiopian Railways Masterplan, jointly with Italferr, on the project for the railway link of the New International Airport of Mexico City; he is currently assisting a major parking business operator on the business plan for the italian market and he is part of the team in charge of studying a connection between Milan Linate Airport and the new Westfield Mall in Segrate.

Federico has been CEO and founder of TeckTouch, a company operating in the space and aviation industries.

He started his Career as a strategic Analyst at Alitalia CAI SpA. In Alitalia he contributed to the development of opportunities for the airline and created an airline efficiency evaluation model.

Federico, then, moved to Meresis Consulting in Shanghai, P.R.C., working on business and financial plans for the automotive Industry.

Other experiences are in Accenture Italy, providing support for Italian Financial Services M&A projects, and in BTO Limited.

He holds a Bocconi Bachelor Degree and a Master of Science, majoring in Finance, Economics and Management.

FABIO BONO

Fabio is senior manager at Cohen&Co. He works closely with Remy Cohen during all phases of the projects. He provides strategic advisory thanks to his long term experience in international banks. Fabio has developed deep understanding of financial issues and supports clients in all aspects of financial and business planning.

Fabio holds a Master in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and joined Cohen&Co. in 2013, after working for Barklays Bank Plc as Large Corporate Relationship Manager.

MARCO PERCOCO

Marco Percoco is an economist specialised in regional development, with particular interest in transport economics. He is assistant professor at the Institutional Analysis and Public Management of the Bocconi University in Milan. He supports Cohen&Co. for the elaboration of cost-benefit analysis and research for public and private clients. Marco has a long term experience accumulated during years at the Bocconi and the participation to noumerous research projects financed by the European Community and the European Investment Bank.

SUPPORT TEAM

Sara supports Cohen&Co. for all daily activities. She provides research assistance for publications and assignments and also supports the team in all administrative task.

SARA ACQUATI – Has been working for Cohen&Co since 1997, after a degree in Foreign Languages at Milan Università Statale. She speaks English, French and Spanish.
